It's day 5 of Papertrey Ink's 6th anniversary and today is all about the new Boutique Bargains section of the Papertrey Ink store. I for one am hooked just because of the name and can't wait to see what the store will carry now and again. You can read the entire announcement on Nichole's blog.
My project today uses one of the items available this month, a small linen drawstring bag. I adore these things and love dressing them up. This came together very simply by using dies from Papertrey Ink including the Button Card, Sweet Life, and Buttoned Up #2 dies, Simply Chartreuse and Melon Berry felt, and a few extras such as the trinket pin and ledger paper.
I embellished across the base of the bag using a strip of vintage script paper topped with white lace and finished off with a button from A Flair for Buttons. My little girl was crafting with me while I was making this and so I let her choose which button to add and this is the one she chose...I think it's a perfect finish.
My little linen bag is filled with these:
I could never, ever have enough vintage buttons...little things make me happy!
Be sure to stop by Nichole's blog for more information about today's contest.
