Just when you thought you'd gotten rid of me for a while, I'm back. This time here to share the Birds & Blooms stamp set and coordinating dies from Papertrey Ink. Sooooo beautiful and enjoyable to work with.
Birds & Blooms is a limited edition set, meaning that it will only be available for exactly one year (February 15th, 2013 through February 15th, 2014). This set is exclusive for purchase with Rewards Points only, it cannot be purchased with cash. Birds & Blooms can be yours with the redemption of 24 Rewards Points. It will be available for a year, so you have plenty of time to save up your points and earn this set!
I began with white cardstock and the Mega Mat Stack 4 die. I stamped my wreath image using watermark ink and embossed with Zing Leaf and Zing Blush ink. I then stamped the tiny flowers using Melon Berry ink, and the beginning of my sentiment at the top using Smokey Shadow ink. At this point I ran this portion though my die cut machine using the Polka Dot Basics II Impression Plate. I then die cut flowers from Harvest Gold cardstock using the coordinating die and embossed each with white embossing powder and adhered them to the wreath using dimensional adhesive. The die cut nest stamped in Dark Chocolate ink was added next along with die cut eggs stamped using Aqua Mist ink and accented with Stickles Diamond glitter.
The rest of my sentiment was added to a Tremendous Tag die cut from White Cardstock and embellished with a die cut bird stamped in Aqua Mist and heart stamped in Melon Berry. I attached it to the center of a bow tied with scrunched seam binding from My Craft Spot and topped it with a Sweet Blush button to finish it off.
