Helloooo! Happy Pre-Spring to you. There weather here is LOVELY and the feel of the sun on my face is heavenly. I'm happy to introduce you to Spring Hills, a new stamp set from Papertrey Ink, designed by Nichole Heady. Simply said, it's just sweet and adorable and will be available for purchase on March 15th at 10PM EST.
My first card uses many images from this set with paper-pieced houses as my focus. I'm a country girl at heart, so the sheep images had me from the start. They are stamped in Ocean Tides, the trees and sentiment in Simply Chartreuse, and the flowers in Autumn Rose.
The paper-pieced houses are stamped onto Vintage Cream cardstock cut using the Limitless Layers: 1 1/4" Circles die collections, matted onto patterned paper cut using the Limitless Layers: 2 1/2" Circles die collections, and then adhered to Vintage Cream cardstock cut using the Mat Stack 3 die. The card is finished off with Sweet Blush Saddle Stitch ribbon and an Aqua Mist button.
Next up are a couple of treat bags dressed up for spring. I began with small glassine bags and stamped the house and trees in watermark ink then added white and Zing Blush embossing powder. I love stamping on glassine.
I then used patterned paper and the Heart-2-Heart #12 die collection to embellish the bag just a bit. Sweet Blush buttons resemble flowers, and a Vintage Cream felt heart cut using the Flipping Out die collection finishes both bags off.
The images in Spring Hills make me think of warm, rustic, cozy colors, so for this card I went that route and used Copic Markers in coordinating colors to add color to my stamped images and then added a bit of paper-piecing to those darling little sheep.
I used Rustic Cream cardstock and the Tag Sale #2 die and added my stamping, coloring, and paper-piecing. I then ran the tag through my die cut machine using my Tin Types Impression plate to give it some texture. I finished the card off with a felt flower cut from Harvest Gold felt using the Bloom Builders #1 die collection. I added burlap leaves cut using the Sending You die and finished the whole thing off with a blossom from the Pansy Resin Flower Collection.
A little something bright for my last card. I began with white cardstock and cut three tags using the Tremendous Tags die collection. I then stamped my houses centered on each tag to create a little village. I added color with Copic Markers followed by a bit of shine with Martha Stewart fine glitter. I stamped my card base with trees in New Leaf and then added on my tags using dimensional adhesive and tied with Rustic Cream Baker's Twine.
I used Vintage Cream and Hibiscus Burst felt, the Mini Blooms, and Flipping Out dies for a little flower grouping at the center of my card.
Across the top I added a white cardstock border cut using the Simple Circles Border die to finish it all off.
Spring Hills is a set I know you'll love and enjoy using!
Thanks for the visit. Below you'll find links to other projects using new release items as well.

Oh my goodness, everything is beautiful (as always)! I love this new stamp set and your paper piecing. Is that hard to do? I didn't know you could stamp on glassine--love how it looks!

Everything is so lovely! I especially love the vellum bags (those pink embossed trees made me think of cherry trees in full bloom...a sure sign if spring here in CO). The bright colors on your last card evoke spring as well. All the projects are just stellar!

You really did justice by this set. The trees (a bit odd to me) even look like they could belong in your spring world.
