I'm back with my remaining projects using Papertrey Ink's new release stamp sets and dies. All will be available for purchase April 15th, 10:00 p.m. EST.
This first card uses the new Happiness in Bloom stamp set which coordinates with the Beautiful Blooms II #1 die collection. I love this sweet stamp set and had a hard time stopping...so many fun flower combinations exist and I love the sentiments.
I used the Happiness in Bloom set once again here along with the Wonderful Words - Memories stamp set and die. My parents have a big anniversary coming up next year and I suppose they've been on my mind a lot lately, so when I ran across this beautiful wedding photo of them, I decided to create something special to celebrate their 50 years together.
I stamped directly onto the photo and added the die-cut, which was cut from coordinating patterned paper, across the photo as well.
I just embellished with a few stamped flowers, die cut leaves using the Turning a New Leaf die, ribbon, buttons, a Melissa Frances resin embellishment, etc. The scrunched seam binding is from Craft Spot and the Mint Chevron washi from Freckled Fawn.
I love this photo of the two of them with my grandparents. My dad is still just as handsome today, with silver hair and bright blue eyes, and my mom, well she's even more beautiful now. Did you know she was a beaut queen back in the day? Yep, Miss Clearfield....if only I could take a step back in time and experience it first hand.
You have to know that when it comes to using masculine sets, I love to try and twist them to fit into my world of pink and all things girlie. My little one is playing softball for the first year and so I created this card with her in mind. The new 7th Inning Stretch stamp set and coordinating dies were put to use here and I threw in some images from the All Star Team and Additions stamp sets as well.
I paper pieced the hat to resemble something my little girl might wear and then piled on the embellishments.
My remaining projects are all about Dad starting with this first creation using the new Handy Hardware stamp set and dies. Each time my dad knows we're coming for a visit he asks for homemade cookies, so this pocket was created with him in mind.
The tools in this set just couldn't be any cuter and I love the row of bolt images too.
I used the new Boutique Borders: Father stamp set and die on this card and combined them with the World's Greatest stamp set.
And lastly comes the new Polka Dot Basics #3 stamp set. I adore that retro TV. I also used the new Sketched Shapes stamp set here as well...such a great set to add in small details and accents with.
That will do it for me this month. Thank you for all of your visits and sweet comments.
The other designers have been working hard and have wonderful things to share with you as well.
