Good morning sunshines! The sun is out this morning and I'm hoping the wind stays away and that it will warm up and feel like spring again. My little one is off on an all-day field trip. I'm excited for her, happy for her, but find myself fretting and worrying about her all at the same time.
I've got Mother's Day on my mind and have had the Mother stamp set from Papertrey Ink sitting out for quite some time, so I set to work using it.
When I need a little creative boost to get me going sometimes, I've found that recreating previous projects but using different colors and design elements really helps out and jump starts my creativity. I turned to a previous project for my card today, a tag that used the Friends 'Til the End stamp set and decided to add the tag to a card this time around.
For my colors I turned to mixes of soft pink, peach, melon, raspberry, and a bit of honey, inspired by the photos below. Raspberry Truffle scrunched seam binding from Craft Spot is the perfect color to mix in.
More peachy pink projects coming soon. These are the colors in the new card kit I'm creating for Frost it Pink, so I'll have them to share with you very soon.
Have a beautiful Thursday.
Melis

Sweet card Melissa! It made my heart smile! And I love the afghan - it makes me want to curl up and crochet for a bit even just to make a cotton yarn dishcloth for my sweet Mom. I also hopped over to Nana Company - be still my quilt-loving heart! Thanks for the links dear! Your posts always brighten my day!
Hugs,
Jill
