I have some fun news to share with you today!
I've been using scrunched seam binding or "Crinkle Ribbon" from My Craft Spot for quite a while now and love it to the point that I can't imagine paper-crafting without it. I love the way the bows turn out soft and plump and I LOVE the shabby colors that tie in perfectly with my favorite color scheme.
My favorite colors are available in a collection now at My Craft Spot consisting of: Raspberry Truffle, Vanilla Bean, and Spring Breeze. So anytime you're in the mood to shabby up your stash, you can find these three lovely colors bundled together right HERE.
My projects today use Melissa Frances supplies, the first is a little gift container using the Melissa Frances Rectangular Scallop Treat Cup, paper from the Classic Elegance collection, pleated white organza ribbon, and a resin applique. You can visit the Melissa Frances Etsy shop for treat cup kits and other beautiful supplies.
Love these glass button replicas and pink crocheted trim
My Just a Note stamp is from Papertrey Ink's Friendship Jar Spring Fillers stamp set and is stamped on a tag die cut using the Tiny Tags die.
And, before I go, there's a fun holiday challenge posted on the Festive Friday blog. All you have to do is create a holiday card using the word "Sweet".
My card for the challenge uses Papertrey Ink's Friendship Jar and Friendship Jar Holiday Fillers stamp sets as well as a sentiment from the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set.
The Baker's Twine is another product you can find at My Craft Spot and comes in so many fun color combinations. Some of my favorite are Stars & Stripes, Watermelon Taffy, and Pink Lemonade.
Enjoy your Friday and thank you for visiting.
Melissa
I just had to gasp when I read this post. You make the most beautiful shabby bow and the container they are in is adorable. I am completely in love with that gorgeous card with the bird on it. If it's available for sale, let me know. Your Christmas card is so cute--I never tire of the holiday!

Beautiful colors of seam binding. Your card is fabulous! Love the colors and each layer is scrumptious. The resin bird is nice and the glass button looks like a tiny door knob. When I saw the card, in fact, I was thinking it was like a door ... peaking my curiosity, inviting me to open it, to to see what lie beyond ...dramatic, huh? Then i came back to reality and got a grip on the fact that it was a beautiful card and not a shabby portal. Heehee! It is interesting what emotion art can erupt, huh? :)

Ooops! Forgot to mention how "sweet" your jar of cookies card is. The way the jar is colored and "popped" gives it nice dimension. The candy cane striped paper is perfect and the light pink buttons, mocking the snowflake shapes on the red paper, are perfect. Terrific holiday card. :)
