Hello again. Today I am happy to share the rest of my projects showcasing Papertrey Ink's June releases.
This first card uses the new Bigger Blooms (a larger version of the previously released Mini Blooms set) and Boutique Borders: Thanks. Both have coordinating dies available to make stamping and creating even easier.
The new Polka Dot Parade #5 stamp set and dies are used on this card along with the Bigger Blooms set again. After I pieced together the little birdie, I was reminded of a tea-towel that one of my grandmas had when I was a little girl, so I used the Edgers #2 die to create a frilly, delicate edge to mimic a tea-towel just a bit.
I added stitching to the wings and belly of the bird to further add to the homespun feel. Such a sweet set and the Bigger Blooms set....it's just priceless.
This card showcases the new Chevron Cover Plate along with the Live Love Life stamp set.
The images in Live Love Life are adorable and super trendy. I love this set. I stamped my images on vellum and embossed them using Zing Brown Sugar and Blush.
I added a burlap flower from Pink Paislee along with trim die cut using the Heart-2-Heart #7 dies and a vintage button and then a few strips of coordinating paper and trim. The button is from A Flair for Buttons. These are so much fun.
The new school themed sets released this month are adorable. Love them all. This card uses the Back to School set...I don't think I will ever get enough of those sweet apples.
This card also uses the Back to School set and die along with the new Wonderful Words: Teacher stamp set and die and the older Teach & Inspire and School Time sets.
The apples is embellished with a wood chip heart from Freckled Fawn.
The Live Love Life set is used again on this card along with thew new Teacher Tickets stamp sets which coordinates with the Just the Ticket dies.
The star from Teacher Tickets fits perfectly inside a Tiny Tag.
And, another Flair Button...too cute to resist.
The supplies used on these cards are all listed below. And, the other designers have oodles to share with you using these new sets as well:
- Dawn McVey
- Betsy Veldman
- Maile Belles
- Jessica Witty
- Cristina Kowalczyk
- Erin Lincoln
- Ashley Cannon Newell
- Heather Nichols
- Debbie Olson
- Nichole Heady
If you don't see me for a while around here, it's because we're off to Yellowstone! I may have time for another post or two, but we'll see :).
Thanks for visiting.
Melis

LOVE this post full of wonderful cards! What a delightful way to start my day! :) ?? Do you "treat" your burlap b4 cutting it so it doesn't fray when you cut it? And ... what do you use to adhere it (re layers or single pc to card)? Thanks for your advice. :)
