Can you believe it's June already? I'm so glad it has arrived, I just can't figure out why the time seems to be passing by so quickly :). Today the Papertrey Ink Sr. Team is revisiting the Take Note stamp set. I chose to use this set to create a notepad cover where I can keep the list that is always, always floating around my house, my grocery list.
Along with images from the Take Note stamp set, I also used Strawberry Patch (with a bit of paper-piecing involved), and the Just for You stamp sets.
I created my cover using Sweet Blush cardstock and stamped my images in Melon Berry, Simply Chartreuse, Autumn Rose, and Smokey Shadow. I used the Limitless Layers: 1 3/4" Circles dies to help create a focal point for my Take Note stamp.
I love adding in fabric as often as I can to my paper-crafting, and lately torn strips seem to be my thing, so along with paper from the In Bloom paper pad, I added a strip of fabric across the top of my notepad cover.
Inside, I attached a Vintage Cream Notepad to the left side and stitched a block of fabric to the right side creating a pocket to hold pencils. I wrapped washi tape from Freckled Fawn around both pencils near the top and trimmed them into pennants to add in coordinating colors.
These are such fun projects to make for special friends or for yourself. I love that there are so many options available in this stamp set. It's fun to dress up the routine of life a bit, don't you think?
Thanks for visiting. Be sure to stop by the blogs of the other designers to see what they've created as well.
Welcome back Melissa, missed you :-) just love, love your creation, have some notepads and lovely fabric, must try to create some of your magic.

Haven't seen these little notepads in a while. You revived them beautifully. Missed you while you were away - missed the beauty you create.
