Hi everyone! I have another Freckled Fawn card for you today using plenty of fun Freckled Fawn supplies. First and foremost, my focal point is a painted and glittered Wood Chip Frame. And inside my frame, I've used a negative die image that frames in a couple of washi strips and a Resin Rose. I used the Pink Triangle Quilt and the Green Ivy washi tape.
I added a Speech Bubble Wood Chip over my frame, and lastly...
For the next two weeks, the Festive Friday challenge blog has a playful, new theme. If you choose to play along, your challenge is to create a card in a theme for children, and being a mother to a little girl who leaves Santa a heaping pile of cookies each Christmas Eve, I chose Cookies for Santa as the theme for my card.
Long, long ago, I was asked to join the Melissa Frances team, and I have saved everything from Melissa's early days, such as the darling cardstock stickers used here. I can't part with them, as they are among my most favorite products she developed. The resin wreath is also from Melissa Frances.
The wooden snowflake is from Studio Calico and has been painted with Krylon Catalina Mist and then coated in glitter. The tea-stained tag has been stamped with a sentiment from the Papertrey Ink Tag-Its #8 set. The beautiful paper is also from my stash of stuff I can't part with, old Basic Grey...isn't it pretty?
Gotta run. You all have a wonderful day!
Melis
Beautiful cards, Melis, but I have to say my favorite is the Christmas one. I'm with you in loving Melissa Frances products especially the early ones. Makes it card to part with them!

I sooo love your glittery, vintage shabby chic designs! And I have that very same Basic Grey in my stash... hoping I don't ever use it up completely, LOL! So inspirational - thanks Melissa. :)

I love that you made such a pretty, shabby card that works for kids - I struggle with that. You did it so beautifully!
The first card is SO pretty - I love all the little bits of different patterned paper, and your glittery frame. Perfect!
