I loved this challenge, the challenge of choosing a card designed by someone else and then adding just a few touches to make it my own, but at the same time, this is a daunting task as I always feel very unworthy to be coaching anyone along. I think I should submit my cards and have you all tell me how you'd fix them for me :). Please keep in mind, that I decided to "step-up" the original card just a bit, tweaking it slightly just to add in my own personality. The card I chose was card #17 created by Sarah Thieke. It's a beautiful card made in colors that I found to be so beautifully mixed together.
The stamp sets used on our cards are the Mini Blooms and Heart-2-Heart #10. The design of the original card made by Sarah was wonderful...super great layout and placement. I just decided to add in layering and had so much fun working with the colors she chose, Spring Rain, Winter Wisteria, Plum Pudding, White, Aqua Mist, and Lavender Moon.
Thank you Sarah for allowing me to remake your beautiful card!

Well, I am energized and all wiped out at the same time. How does that happen? Thank you for letting me be part of your day and opening your door so graciously. I hope you've had as much fun as I have.
Hugs to you all!
Melissa
Lovely dimension, Melissa! I love all the layers and the pop of the wings! The colors are just fabulous too! Nice "remix!"

I can see the patterned paper makes a big difference between the original and yours. It came out beautifully!

I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful, creative weekend - your projects are always so delightful:) Your fabulous cake is gone and I'm exhausted, but I managed to get all of my messes cleaned up so I think I just might do a little stamping tonight!
