Hey, hey! Welcome to Stamp-a-faire and your first challenge, Tea Staining Techniques. My chosen technique today focuses on muslin soaked in tea and aged to a beautiful, warm, shabby cream. In my video you'll see how I go about doing this and I'll also walk you through the process of die cutting and stamping your tea stained muslin to create a lovely, layered flower.
You can view my tutorial HERE.
Can't wait to see what you create!
Melissa

Loved watching you create one of your beautiful flowers. Can't wait to do one of my own. Your video was so pleasant to watch - I love when it is your turn on Make it Monday.

I've been wanting to do this so I'm so glad it's part of our day. My muslin is in the dryer after sitting in tea all night. I used to make attic dolls and tea stained everything. It's such a fun technique.

Melissa, your flower is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! You're making me wish I had some muslin on hand so I could make a couple of those right now. But alas, I don't, so I'll have to revisit your video later after I stock up. ;) Thanks so much for sharing that technique and going even further to show what a beautiful element could be created with it!

I have really enjoyed watching your videos today. Really, they have been my favorites. I knew you must have some secret to the beautiful flowers you create. Thanks for sharing some of them with us. I hope you will do more tutorial videos showcasing your style. Now a question- what stamp did you use on the top of the library card in the video. It looked so beautiful!

I love seeing how you pull things together to come up with such lovely creations. It is a joy to watch you create. The black layer on the flourish adds such depth. It mimics the shape of the L in 'Love' perfectly.
The quote that you shared in last night's video is a wonderful reminder. Thank you for that.
