Just a few things I love today, burlap is a staple here in my craft room, but I love it even more when paired with gingham. Today's cards were created for Emma's Paperie and highlight Farm House Paper Co. products...I love this company for its rustic, cozy, homespun feel.
For a complete list of supplies along with instructions/layering tips, visit the Emma's Paperie blog.
My card for the Freckled Fawn blog this week uses so many fun little elements, such as Freckled Fawn's Star & Such Wood Chips, Orange Stencil Washi, and Music Note Washi.
I think this is the cutest owl I have ever seen. It's also from Freckled Fawn and can be found HERE. I added tiny, brown, adhesive pearls to accentuate the eyes a bit.
And, to add to the fall/Halloween feel, I used Papertrey Ink's Mighty Oak and Been Boo'd stamp sets.
Enjoy your weekend.

Love the first two cards and all their cosy, warm vibes. Gorgeous. But, love, love the Halloween card and that owl has to come home to me, he is so cute!! But love how you used thd Mighty Oak stamp, mine has just arrived here and you have set me thinking, as always :-) oh we are ready for Autumn, the temps here have dropped and the extra layers are being pulled out...apple crumbles and spicy teas....

I love these cards! The two made for Emma's have such deep fall colors and the blue bow is the perfect accent. They give me a cozy, warm feeling. And the last card with that adorable owl is just the sweetest thing. Have a wonderful weekend!

You helped inspire me with the burlap. I need to make tags for a western style wedding dinner . . . thanks for all of the many many times you have given me the spark to creativity.
