Are you ready for jingle bells and holly berries? I sure am....not, but I do love creating holiday projects year round and LOVE the sweet new things available this month through Papertrey Ink. Just so darned cute and fun! Our first group post this month focuses on the new Two Feet Deep stamp set, coordinating dies, the new and oh, so irresistible Double Bows Dies, and the lovely new Fancy Flakes Dies. So much to look forward to.
For my first project, I created a tag using the sled image from the Two Feet Deep stamp set, cutting it from Kraft cardstock and stamping it in Pure Poppy and Smokey Shadow. I stamped the sweet, pine embellishment in Ripe Avocado, Pure Poppy, and Scarlet Jewel. The sentiment, also from the set, was stamped on a Double Ended Banner die in Smokey Shadow. The sled tag is attached to a gift package cut using Kraft cardstock and the Favor It Box #3 die. I stamped it across the bottom with images from the Love Lives Here: Holiday stamp set and then embossed it using the new Stitching Impression Plate.
I used the new Double Bows Dies to create a fun, floppy bow for the top of my package. I used canvas as my medium and stamped it using Scarlet Jewel ink and the Background Basics: Sheet Music stamp set. The center is embellished with a Pure Poppy button and die cut leaves using the Holly Jolly die collection and Spring Moss Polka Dot paper.
For my card, I stamped the sled image in Classic Kraft and Smokey Shadow, with the same colors used on the pine embellishment.
My sentiment was stamped in Smokey Shadow on a background of Classic Kraft Bitty Dot Paper.
I used the Fancy Flakes dies and Vintage Cream cardstock, stamped the snowflakes using the Polka Dot Basics Stamp Set and Spring Moss ink, and then coated them with glitter to make the sparkle. They are layered together and topped with a resin snowflake.
The Two Feet Deep stamp set can be dressed up or dressed down and I have been having so much fun with it. Be sure to stop by the blogs of the other designers to see other images included in this set and to see their wonderful projects.
Thank you for stopping in!

Melissa, on the last card- is the houndstooth patterned paper or did you stamp that and with what stamp? Love the idea of using canvas for the bow! I never would have guessed! Thanks for inspiring us and have a great weekend!
