Hey there! Welcome to the Hero Arts + Basic Grey blog hop. If you're following along with the hop, you may have arrived here from Kelly Rasmussen's blog. If at any time you get a little lost, you can always visit the Hero Arts blog to find a list of all of the participants.
Today, we're showcasing Basic Grey and Hero Arts Spice Market stamp sets and Basic Grey paper collections. I was assigned the beautiful Spice Market Deco Background cling stamp and have used it here on my card base. I inked my stamp in two colors to get a graduated color look, using Hero Arts Bubble Gum and Pale Tomato Shadow Ink.
I was asked to combine the Spice Market stamps with Basic Grey's new Herbs & Honey collection and used the 6x6 paper pad, Die Cuts and Transparencies, Chipboard, Snippets, the Waterfall Theme Pack, and Wood Die Cuts on my card. The sentiment stamped on my tag is from the Spice Market Best Time Ever set and is stamped in Hero Arts Green Hills Shadow Ink.
I loved using these stamps and the Herbs & Honey collection so much that I made a second card. The Spice Market Deco Background set was embossed on Kraft cardstock used across the bottom of the card.
And images from the Spice Market Best Time Ever set were embossed on vellum this time. These images look beautiful either way, inked up, or heat embossed. All such beautiful sets to work with.
Hero Arts and Basic Grey are giving away two Spice Market collections -- including paper, embellishments, clear and cling stamps. The two winners will be randomly selected from all comments received on the participating designers' blogs. Comments must be received by 11:59pm PST on Sunday, March 2. The more comments you leave along the hop, the better your odds of winning!
So, the next stop on the hop is the ever so amazing, Julie Ebersole...gosh, I am a huge Julie fan...you're in for a treat!
Beautiful giveaway, huh? Happy hopping and thanks for stopping.
