Hello again. I'm back with a super fun stamp set, new from Papertrey Ink called Desktop Design. I am smitten with it as it's just like a playground for crafters. You'll love it too. My first card doesn't use the coordinating dies, so you could say it may be a bit simpler than my second card, for those of you who prefer more of a one dimensional approach:).
For this card I began by die cutting Rustic Cream cardstock using the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 1 die and then stamped my cute alphabet background across the bottom using the new Simply Framed stamp set. I tell you, I am falling more and more in love with that set :). I then stamped my images directly onto my die cut journal card mixing and matching with each step...I think that's what makes this set so much fun, the fact that there are 2 or more steps to many of the images, so you can make your typewriter pink and grey if you want :). Gonna try myself one in red and aqua, etc., etc. I accented my images with just a bit of Prisma glitter.
I then stamped the remainder of my sentiment on a die cut Double Ended Banner and attached it across my journal card using a bit of dimensional adhesive.
I pulled out the coordinating Desktop Design dies for this card and have to say that the die cut typewriter and paper are my most favorite things about this set. So cute and unique. What a fun way to say thank you, hello, or thinking of you!
I framed in my die cut images by using the Tag Sale #10 die and then attached everything to a journal card cut using the new Monthly Moments: Mini Journal Card die. The lines stamped across it are also from the Desktop Design stamp set. Lastly I added a bit of texture by adding die cut felt flowers but using the new Button Stacks II dies.
Love, love, love Desktop Design! You'll find it hard to put away, I'm sure.

Melissa, I think you are the paper crafting queen and I have been a fan for quite a while! I could gush about you all day, but I wanted to ask how you design the inside of your cards since you usually use sentiments on the fronts of your cards. Thanks for sharing your lovely talent with the world. I look forward to your posts each day.

Not only were your card projects beautiful, but the setting (like the lace, twine, button holder) was great as well.

Melis love the cards. Always love your color combo which are so fem and girly. I do have a question. On the first card, is that an alpha stamp set you used or is it design paper. Love it. Have to own it!! Thanks much.

Hello Melissa.
I have been admiring your hard work from afar for ages.
I really appreciate the dies that have been released as they make crafting so much easier. The clean edges look great.
