I love April! It's a very special month for me and I've tried to capture some of my favorite moments using Papertrey Ink's Monthly Moments: April products as well as using a few other new release items as well. We'll get started with my first page here. We took a walk last Sunday in the late afternoon and I handed the camera over to my little girl and loved what I saw as I was downloading my photos.
Our home....words can't even describe what I feel in this sweet haven of ours. I matted my photos on paper from the Monthly Moments: April Journal Card Pad, I love the soft blues and yellows this month. Across the top, I created my title using the new Stenciled Alphabet Blocks dies...holy cow, I love these :).
This photo may strike some of you as odd, but not to me. I loved that my little girl snapped it randomly...a photo of my husband and I holding hands as we walked, completely happy and oblivious to what she was doing behind us, ha! I love it. I used the Monthly Moments: April stamp set and Monthly Moments: March die across the bottom of my photo. The felt flowers used throughout my pages were cut using the Just Smile die collection.
My next page uses the Monthly Moments: April stamp set again along with the coordinating die and celebrates new life popping up all around us here at our home on the range.
I also added in the new Button Stacks II dies and images from another new stamp set, called the Simply Framed.
Heather has designed the cutest Journal Card pad for April. You'll love all of the images available.
This page uses the new Monthly Moments: Journal Pocket 1 and Mini Journal Card dies. I love the idea of having a pocket inside my pocket pages. What a fun idea.
I typed up a note for my little girl and tucked it inside this pocket, sharing my thoughts with her about the simple acts of service we provide for one another and how they bring happiness and joy to our lives and the lives of others.
I've been reading the book, One Drop at a Time by M. Russell Ballard, and hope that one day, my little girl will read it as well and understand her vital role here on earth. It's a good one :).
I printed off the Monthly Moments: April download and included the calendar image here along with more stamped images from the Simply Framed stamp set.
My last page combines more Monthly Months: April products with the Simply Framed and Wet Paint II set, both so perfect for memory keeping. I stamped images from Wet Paint II directly onto my photo.
The Journal Tab die collection is fun to use with memory keeping as well and is used here, attached to another card from the Monthly Moments: April Journal Card Pad. Cute images, right?
The Phrase Play #1 die and stamp set were just what I needed to fit beside my journal card. Did you know these cards are just the right size for Monthly Moments?
I'll be back later in the month with a couple more pages for you, but until then, below are other links for more Monthly Moments: April ideas. Thanks for visiting!
