Paper scrap hoarders...I know you're out there. I freely admit I am one. I am not ashamed. I love paper scraps, but I many need intervention. I have a small solution for those of you who find themselves in the same condition as myself and have a project for you to help weed out some of those beloved scraps. On the Papertrey Ink blog, today's Make it Monday uses scraps and dies and I'll walk you through the process used to make this fun card.
For this card, I used the new Teepee Time die to cut several triangular shaped scraps, which I then pieced together to form a scrappy pie chart. Sooooo much fun! I then used the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 2 to cut a scalloped card which I then cut a heart shaped window out of using the Framed Out #11 die. The stamp set used for my sentiment is from the Doodlie Do set.
I've got another in the works using my paper scraps to form a pie chart, but with a negative star image over the top. Be back shortly :).
Hope you'll play along!
Melis
What die did you use to cut all the triangle shapes from your scraps? I have searched and searched the PTI website, and cannot find the die you used. Do you have a link? I would love to do this technique, as I am drowning in scraps!

Wow, Melissa, love this so much. Love to watch you work, oh so casually creating perfection - it really annoys me! And big hugs to you (I just read your April 25th post). Sierra is a very lucky little girl.

Wonderful idea to use scraps! Looks so pretty! And, yes, I do tend to hoard papercraft products!

I must give this a try but I know already that it won't be as gorgeous as your take on this technique. This is lovely!
