The Papertrey Ink Sr. Team is revisiting the beautiful Wildflower Garden stamp set this month...Happy May, by the way :). This set is one of my all time favorites for so many reasons. I love how easy it is to stamp with, kind of flawless, really. And, it just evokes feelings of peace and comfort, the images and sentiments.
I used chalk ink to stamp my floral images on this first card and created layers of color behind a die cut Monthly Moments Journal Card 2 card, stamped using the Background Basics: Farm & Barn stamp set. The window was cut from the journal card using the B die from the Tag Sale #8 collection.
I stamped my sentiment using Winter Wisteria ink on a die cut Double Ended Banner cut from Vintage Cream cardstock. And, then I accented the bottom with patterned paper from the Pretty Pastels paper pad.
My next card is pretty simple, with just the tiny flower from Wildflower Garden as the focal point. I embossed my flower on a vellum tag die cut using the Tag Sale #9 die. I embossed it using two different colors, Aged Rose embossing enamel used on the blossom and Shabby Green embossing enamel used on the stem, both from Stampendous.
I then framed out the flower by using a die cut scalloped frame cut using the Tag Sale #10 die.
I then attached my tag to a block of Vintage Cream cardstock embossed using the Chicken Wire Impression Plate. I used fabric tape across the bottom from Freckled Fawn...so pretty and dainty and compliments that flower perfectly. I left this card without a sentiment so that it could be used for many different occasions.
The other Sr. Team members have projects using Wildflower Garden to share with you as well:
Thanks for visiting.
