This first card uses the feather dies along with the small flower and leaves. I didn't add any water to these stamped images, just let the stamps do all of the work, and love the watercolor effect they immediately add.
Mixing and matching the paper in this kit is so much fun with such happy, vibrant colors to play with.
The tiny heart stamp may be my most favorite stamp in the whole set and when embellished with the tiny flower image, it makes it even more irresistible.
This next card uses the large flower, frame, and a few smaller flower dies along with lots of watercoloring. The cardstock included in this kit make watercoloring so effortless. I just used a waterbrush and added a touch of water to my images after stamping.
I also love the playful frame where you can nestle in your sentiments if you choose.
And of course the Rainstones! I can't live without them now that I've discovered them for the first time :).
One thing I've noticed about this kit, is that the stamps can stand alone, which means whipping up cards in a hurry is so easy. For this card, I just die cut and stamped three of the medium flowers along with leaves. That's all it took to dress up this die cut Tag Sale cut from patterned paper found within the kit.
I wrapped a bit of coordinating hemp around the tag, (also found in the kit), attached it over a layer of canvas, and then stapled on a couple of banners. The Rainstones always add the perfect finishing touch :).
This last card was so much fun to make. I began by using my waterbrush and the Watercolor cakes and just painted on random circles in a variety of coordinating colors.
I then stamped the detail floral image over each watercolor circle to make them look like flowers, added a bit of water, and then added some tiny flowers to bring in more pattern. All that was left was to add my framed in die cut sentiment and washi tape cut in to banners. So much fun!
Can't wait to show you more and sure hope you'll enjoy your new Make it Market Beautiful Brushstrokes kit.
