Hey there! Welcome to the Hero Arts + BasicGrey Grand Bazaar blog hop. Get ready for some colorful, vibrant, and fresh inspiration, as every little detail in the Grand Bazaar collection is all of those things.
You may have arrived here from Kelly Rasmussen's blog or just happened upon my post today. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the blog hop, visit the Hero Arts Blog to see a list of all of the participants.
My first card today uses the new Grand Bazaar Leaf and Flourish stencil on mustard cardstock using modeling paste. The results are so lovely and dimensional....reminds me of rich tapestry :). I added a bit of Grand Bazaar paper to the left of my stenciled cardstock and then framed in a sentiment from the Hero Arts You Make Me Smile stamp set, which I stamped on vellum and embossed in white.
The gold embossed flower is from the Hero Arts Small Things set and was also stamped and embossed on my vellum block and then was framed using a Grand Bazaar die cut. I accented my stamped images and sentiment with a die cut transparency and resin flower sticker.
Next, this card uses the Hero Arts Gratitude Background Cling Stamp which I stamped on aqua cardstock and embossed using white embossing powder. It is layered over Grand Bazaar paper and then topped with a chipboard sticker.
I added a die cut transparency to my flower using dimensional adhesive and then added a resin flower to the center to create more depth and dimension.
Across the bottom of my card I added a die cut tab layered over a Gold Foil Accent with a transparency die cut used as my sentiment, and then finished once again with a resin flower. There are so many fun embellishments and unique products in the Grand Bazaar collection.
Lastly this card uses the Leaf and Flourish stencil and modeling paste again. It is layered over Grand Bazaar paper and topped with all sorts of embellishments such as transparencies and die cuts.
I stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts You Make Me Smile set on a vellum tag and embossed it using mustard embossing powder.
To finish, I stapled a die cut transparency to a die cut tab. So easy to work with and such a pleasure! I love seeing how the stamps, stencils, paper, and embellishments work together.
Before I show you the amazing giveaway, your next stop on the blog hop is Lisa Spangler...someone pinch me...she's amaze-balls!:).
And now for the juicy details! Hero Arts and BasicGrey will be giving away two Grand Bazaar prize packs -- including paper, embellishments, clear and cling stamps, and stencils. The two winners will be randomly selected from all comments received on the participating designers' blogs. Comments must be received by 11:59pm PST on Wednesday, June 11. The more comments you leave along the hop, the better your odds of winning!
So glad you stopped by.
Melissa

This is why I love blog hops - I thought Jennifer's white on white with embossing paste was the only way to go, but the white on mustard looks fabulous too!

On another note, thanks for making your "not a robot" code easy. Not a scrunched up mess that I can never get right the first time. I understand the need for it, but usually it is just too hard. Thank you.
