Hello friends, I'm back with more Papertrey Ink projects today...lots of 'em, so buckle in :). My first card is all about celebrating the 4th of July, seeing as how my birthday is always celebrated on the 4th, I have a particular fondness to this wonderful holiday. I've used the new Birthday Classics: July stamp set.
I created a die cut flag of sorts using the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 2 and Mini Journal Card dies, and stamped my stripes using the est. 1776 stamp set. I used the Heart Prints and Flipping Out dies for my felt embellishments.
This next card uses the new Phrase Play #5 stamp and die set as well as the new Seasonal Stitching: Ladybug dies...so sweet :).
At the top I added die cut Friendly Flowers cut from paper and cork.
Next up is a wedding card in very non-traditional wedding colors. I used the new Keep it Simple: Wedding stamp set.
I also pulled in the new Friendly Flowers stamp and dies and the older Modern Wood Mats and Table Service stamp sets.
The new Thank You Kindly stamp set was used on this card as well as the Ombre Builders set.
I couldn't wait to try out the new Seasonal Stitching: Seashells die and paired it with the older Friendship Jar: Summer Fillers stamp set.
The Cat's Meow was used on this card and in true Heather Nichols' style...it's adorable. I added a bit of pattern to my cat using paper-piecing.
And, a few Topiary Trio cards for you to end...this may well be my most favorite set from this release. It's perfect for me :). I used the Topiary Trio die on this card and embossed Sweet Blush cardstock with white embossing powder.
I layered my die cut topiary over the new Stitched Rectangles dies and stamped my sentiment across the bottom to finish...I love, love, love the fonts used in this set.
My next card uses the Topiary Trio dies mixed with a couple of different colors of embossing powder, embossed over Kraft cardstock. I love this effect.
I layered my topiary over a die cut Rustic Wreath in Vintage Cream and Sweet Blush. In the background you'll notice the sweet new No Strings Attached stamp set.
For this card I just used an image from Topiary Trio without the die and added a bit of water to create a watercolor effect.
I added a heart cut from the Tremendous Tags collection and then a sentiment from the Winter Hills stamp set.
Lastly I pulled out my Instant Photo Pull Out die collection and created a tag inside this fun cover.
I added a little bit of Spring Rain to my color combination by stamping the tiny flower from the Phrase Play #5 stamp set.
Inside the tag is stamped with different images from Topiary Trio as well as the No Strings Attached set.
My paper used here is from Crate Paper's new Open Road collection...so pretty and perfect for these lovely topiary images.
