Good morning! What a beautiful Saturday it is here. I hope you're busy enjoying some creative time today. If you're visiting because of Papertrey Ink's Stamp-a-Faire, my challenges are up on the Papertrey Ink blog and we're exploring The Regency Era.
These cards were made just for this challenge showing you how to use a couple of new techniques and challenging you to get creative and try those techniques out at home. My first card uses gold embossing powder over a stamped die cut frame. After I heat embossed the gold powder, I then used a dark distress ink and rubbed it over the frame to age and antique it a bit. Such a fun technique. Hope you'll give it a try.
My second card and challenge is all about needlepoint which is very reminiscent of The Regency Era.
So for this challenge would be to use needlepoint on your project or create your own needlepoint image by using a small letter "x".
All of the paper, stamps, and dies used in my cards today are from the Stamp-a-Faire Regency Era kit...so beautiful and so inspiring.
Hope you'll play along. Be sure to visit the blog HERE to find out all of the details, see inspirational photos, view my Regency Era Pinterest board, watch two video tutorials showing how I used these techniques, and there's also a playlist set up for you that I put together with beautiful songs reminiscent of this era to inspire you while you work away.
Enjoy your day.

I can not tell you how much fun I've been having with the Regency Era mini kit! Especially the stitch die. I finally managed to find my Shrinky Dink, and stitched it up with some wool/silk blend handspun embroidery thread. One of my sisters simply adores the Regency Era, so I am set with supplies to make her gifts this year.
This is the link to my Shrinky Dink experiment.
