I've got a serious crush on Papertrey Ink's new Songbirds stamp set and die collection. It's adorable and detailed and I love the sweet melodies that you can choose to let float across your creations.
My first card uses the "Count Your Many Blessings" music image, as this song is very near to my heart and I love it's meaning. After stamping it across my card a couple of times, I added in Soft Stone stamped leaves, and then die cut songbirds, with the smaller birds stamped, and my larger bird cut from patterned paper.
I stamped my "Thank You" sentiment on a die cut Tiny Tag and attached it at the top of my card. Certainly a sweet way to say thank you.
I used the Basic Bookmark 3 die to create a holiday tag using the "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" music image and coordinating die. This along with my die cut songbird were layered over a silver die cut Doily Details die.
And in the background and for my sentiment I used the Peace Be Still stamp set. I added a holly berry embellishment by using Limeade Ice and the Holly Jolly die.
And lastly, I created a holiday card using a pair of sweet, die cut songbirds layered over a stamped Tag Sale #4 die.
I used Simply Chartreuse and Pure Poppy ink for my leaves and berries, with the berries coming from the new Merry Kiss-mas stamp set.
I attached my tag to a die cut vellum Basic Bookmark #2 die, and stamped and embossed my sentiment across the bottom of the vellum die using the new Painted Poinsettias stamp set.
You'll love Songbirds, just as I do. Be sure to visit the other designer's blog to see what they've created using this set as well:

Fantastic projects, Melissa! I am absolutely in LOVE with your pretty holiday tag and the layering of the circular tag, then vellum and DP strips on the last card! I need to try some of the skinnier cards you make--they're always wonderful and look so much better than the A2 size! Thank you so much for your beautiful inspiration.

So very beautiful! I don't know how the inspiration flows continuously from your heart and hands. One of the things I love about PTI products is that they seem to be designed to tell a story. Love that! Your story and the little comments you make reveal the tender soul that resides within you. Thank you for teaching us joy!

Hi Melissa,
¡Oh Dios Mío! (Spanish for OMG!), once again I am impressed by your creativity, choice of color and above all regal design! I know that you are very busy, but could you just once tell us how do you come up with ideas, where do you search for inspiration and how do you come up with color combos that are unusual but oh so good together! You are what I strive for to be , you are what I think about when I do my projects and you are a well of inspiration to keep me interested and enthusiastic about crafting! But most of all you are that ray of sunshine that illuminates my somber mornings and tells me that no matter what happens, as long as there are people like you, all is well with the world! From the bottom of my heart Thanks!
Cariños,
María Alba
P.D. Just between you and me, have you thought about my request?
