Good morning! I hope your week is off to a great start. I am feeling happy, energized, hopeful, creative, and ready to enjoy these next couple of months. I love the fact that Thanksgiving and Christmas are so close together...to me, they both mean so much and it's wonderful to celebrate and enjoy them for a good, long, while.
I turned on Christmas music this morning to wake up my family...I wanted to see what their reaction would be :). And, I've been busy with holiday projects, including this sweet Christmas tree tag that I created for Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday tutorial. I show this dressed up version with Stickles glitter edging the tag, and then a stepped down version, without the glitter border...both fun, both easy. But...if you haven't yet tried Stickles, I think you should :). It will take you back to your Kindergarten days.
A special customer asked me to create a few holiday cottages for her, and I'm just wrapping them up. I love seeing these come to life as I add different patterns, stamps, and special finishing touches.
Each uses Papertrey Ink's Home Made stamp set. I used the Love Lives Here: Holiday stamp set on the tag...love this sentiment.
This tag uses the 'Tis the Season Sentiments stamp set.
And my last house uses the Freshly Fallen dies and the Snowflake Medley, and O'Tannenbaum stamp sets.
I'll be taking orders for a few of these and can create them in any color you're interested in. Just send me a note and we'll talk over the details.
Enjoy your Monday!
Melissa
I am so excited to enjoy the holidays this year! I started making holiday cards and listening to Christmas music yesterday! :)
I love your little houses, they are so beautiful!
And your sweet little tag... I am off to give that die-cutting technique a try! Thank you for always inspiring me, Melissa. Hope you have a fantastic day!

The Christmas houses are absolutely beautiful, Melissa! And the "shabbyfied" tree tag is so cute. What kind of clear adhesive were you using in the partial die cut video? Thank you for all of your beautiful shabby inspirations!! I truly love your work!
