I love a beautiful, white, snowy January...they are incredibly hard to come by here in the desert though. We may get a skiff of the glorious white stuff on occasion, but it doesn't last long and doesn't cover up enough of the earth to enjoy for too long. One winter though, when Sierra was 3 years old, the snow started flying and lasted all day long. We had oodles of it, fluffy, powdery, and enough to make snow angels and snowmen in.
I've used Papertrey Ink's Monthly Moments: January products to document that magical day. Magical because we experienced it with a 3 year old who had never experienced snow. My husband even stayed home for the morning, to enjoy it with us, and to shovel, and shovel, and shovel the walks. My title was cut using the Monthly Moments: January die.
I LOVE the colors used in this month's collection. The January Journal Card Pad is a must have for jump-starting your creativity. I added in pink because of the photos I had and love the way it looks with the others. I created a vellum filled confetti pocket using the Monthly Moments: Journal Card Pocket 1 die. The confetti filling is made up of the tiny, little circles, left after using the new, Monthly Moments: Journal Card 8 die.
I love the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 1 die and have used it on each of my pages to create uniformity and clean, rounded corners. I still remember how Sierra got her little bruise on her forehead....I'd love to kiss it better all over again today :).
I stamped images from the Monthly Moments: January stamp set throughout my pages, using the Tremendous Tags dies to offer accents for these stamped images.
The January download is so handy to have on hand for sweet printable images, journal cards, and phrases.
Here's a peek at the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 8 die in action. I love it and have found that I can't bear to throw away the circles left behind after die cutting....will you be able to?:) I used a phrase from the 'Tis the Season stamp set and stamped it directly onto my photo as well as adding a few stamped snowflakes.
Such a fun memory and delightful time of life.

Melissa, you showcased the bubble die in ways I never would thought to do. Always love your layering. And the soft pink is perfect with these 'frosty' colors!

What a SWEET FACE!!!!!!!!! Every time you show these Monthly Moments, I enjoy seeing Sierra! She has her little chubby cheeks in these photos! I think that is what I miss with our kids grown now! Their little cherub faces! :)
