We have more Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary festivities today! The fun is most definitely not slowing down. Today's post is all about Betsy's new series, Petite Places. We begin with this darling little church, stamp set, and coordinating dies.
I created an Easter-themed card using the Petite Places: Church die along with the Scene It: Everyday dies, Scene It: Skyscapes dies, and Scene It: Basic Backer die. I love how easy (and addicting) it is to build scenes for your little chapel. I used new Papertrey Ink Sheer Basics Vellum to add another layer to my sunburst scene.
The Quilted: Spring stamp set and dies are the perfect addition to this little spring theme and I used sentiments from the new Etched Easter Eggs stamp set across the bottom.
I created a spring banner using these new products along with a dome to frame in my grassy, little chapel and scene.
Along with the Petite Places: Church die, I used the Scene It: Everyday dies, Scene It: Skyscapes dies, and Scene It: Basic Backer die, and the Pop Up Trees.
I created a couple of side pennants using the Tag Sale #7 die, Sheer Basics Vellum, Bitty Button Stacks, and the Life is Beautiful dies for my butterflies. I added a stamped, die cut Tremendous Tag, with the sentiment from the Easter Alleluias stamp set...love this set too :).
I used a few flower sequins inside my dome and on my vellum pennants to dress up my spring banner just a bit. A sweet and fun spring project to welcome this wonderful time of year.

Beautiful! I love how you use patterned paper so beautifully. Love the polka dots and gingham! I need to start my own little file of your projects using patterned paper so when I'm stuck I can refer back to them and I'm sure it will give me the inspiration I need. You have such a knack for it.

Love it! Did you use shimmer/glitter paper on your card? I'm anxious to see someone put glitter on their little buildings aka the putz houses so popular when I was a child.

All your dome banner needs is a church picnic. Makes me ready for spring. Nice samples.

Hi Melissa,
OML!!!!! You always manage to rise above everyone else with your vision and creativity! Thanks for letting us know that it is OK to be kids again and see the world through their eyes, colorful and precious and hopeful and just pure enjoyment! That it is all right to visualize hills in checkers and suns in printed pinks and dotted backgrounds! Today you placed a smile in my face that is going to last a long time, Thanks!!
Cariños,
María Alba
