The next
Papertrey Ink Make It Market Kit will be released on April 1st and it is entitled "Party Pops". Betsy has once again outdone herself! Party Pops is all about interactive birthday cards, tags, favors, gift wrap, decor and anything else you can dream up! Just wait until you see these dies! They provide several options for creating different types of interactive cards — pop-ups, lift-the-flap, and SO much more! Here are just a few things I made using this kit. The first couple of items are tags and mini cards used to dress up party packages. The darling scalloped tag die just might be my most favorite die yet. I used the liner for the inside of the tag, on the outside to create a quick mini card.
I then layered together several cupcake wrappers from the kit, snipped in towards the center, and created a fun, layered flower. The inside of my flower uses the mini pom pons from the kit.
I then die cut images from one of the pre-printed paper sheets from the Party Pops kit, and adhered it to my mini card. A bit of glitter to the top of my candles, and that was it!
Next, I created a tag for a package using the same dies as my base, but added on a die cut and stamped cupcake from the kit.
I added a sweet cherry on top, that you'll find in the kit, and then created another type of layered flower, cut using die cuts from the Party Pops kit. So genius! I then attached my tag to the box found in the kit with some other fun extras.
My next couple of projects add in lighter colors just for fun, as this kit can be used for boys, girls, adults, anyone at any age and with any particular style in mind. The dies make everything so doable and possible.
I used the another fun die from the kit that creates circular pop-up elements when combined with other dies you'll find in the kit, such as the candles, cupcake, and balloons. I love shaped tags and cards, and this particular die makes created circular shaped items so easy and fun.
Instead of using this particular group of dies for a table decoration, or package topper, I attached it to a card base, to create a card with lots of character and layers.
I love all of the different layering possibilities involved with this set, that all come about because of the interactive dies.
Inside my card, I stamped another sentiment using images from this set, and a few streamers and cupcakes.
I feel like I've barely just scratched the surface of what can be done with this amazing kit and can't wait to pull it out for many special birthdays in the future.

Love how you used the soft colors to add the "Melissa" touch to these projects! And love how you used the circular element on the front of your card and disguised the fold line with ribbon - so pretty!
