Something fresh and full of life on this gloomy, rainy Saturday :). I actually LOVE a good rainstorm, so in my mind, it's a perfect, gloomy, rainy Saturday.
I created this card for Emma's Paperie and have based it on a sketch you can find there. It uses beautiful soft, shabby, and sweet Prima products along with some Doodlebug sequins for a bit of shimmer.
You can read more about this project HERE on the Emma's Paperie blog.
Today, and honestly, every day, this quote helps me understand, helps hush my fears, gives me perspective, and a glimpse into eternity, and for that I am so thankful.
Melis
Your card is so beautiful, Melis! I love rainy days, too, with the smell of something baking in the oven. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Rainy days when we get to cozy up with family are the best! Love your beautiful card! And the quote speaks right to my heart! It reminds me of the song "Blessings" by Laura Story and how His greatest blessings sometimes come through tears! There are silver linings in some of our most difficult circumstances! And He is always with us! Thanks so much for sharing it! Hugs!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful project and also the beautiful quote. It reminds me of my sometimes prayer, "Lord, I need patience and I need it NOW ". His ways are always perfect and when we stay open to them, grace abounds.
God Bless,
Pat

Lately, God has been needing to smack me upside the head with a two-by-four to get me to pay attention. I pray that I can get back to just needing a whisper. Thank you for the encouragement that it can happen. Your loving heart is evident in your creations, Melis.

Thank you, Melissa! Not just for sharing this technique and gorgeous end result but also sharing your heart with such a beautiful inspirational message. Some of my very near and dear are going through some very serious trials and tribulations at the moment. Prayers from any and all would be so appreciated and gratefully received. I'm going to keep your little message tucked in my back pocket (ok, on my phone, which is usually stuffed in my pocket lol) so I can whip it out and re-read it when I feel my faith and spirits sagging.
