Hello again! There's more to celebrate at Papertrey Ink this month and our group post today is all about balloons!
I've used the darling new Cover Plate: Balloon Bash die and Balloon Strings dies on my happy little birthday card.
After die cutting my Cover Plate: Balloon Bash background from Vintage Cream Linen cardstock, I stamped over it using the new Good Times stamp set. I used Summer Sunrise, Aqua Mist, Pure Poppy, and Sweet Blush and then used my Gelatos to soften and smudge each stamped image. I love this effect and look really like how it looks over a cover plate.
My balloon are from the Birthday Style stamp set and are just the perfect size for the new Balloon Strings dies. My sentiment is also from the new Good Times stamp set and coordinating dies. I added a bit of glitter to each balloon along with sequins and matted my card front over a block of Chicken Scratch Gingham.

Beautiful, Melissa. The combination of soft colors & various prints, with the addition of gelatos (you know I bought some because of you...) is perfect. I love seeing what you create- could sit & look @ your cards indefinitely. But wait...I do need to get a few things done!

Nice combination of items for your card. Your little bits of color on the cover plate piece really make the card "happy."

Beautiful card. When you used the 'good time' stamp set for this creation...did you just use the star and circle stamps?
