Today's Papertrey Ink group post is so exciting for me...the new Choose Joy stamp set is very special to my heart and I am happy to share it with you. And, I have always loved wreaths, so to have the darling, new Twig Wreath stamp set to showcase, is also a special treat.
My first card uses one of my most favorite sentiments from the Choose Joy stamp set. It is from one of my most favorite people, President Gordon B. Hinckley. He has always been such an example to me, and this quote is one that defines his personality perfectly. I stamped it in Hibiscus Burst ink to the center of a die cut Basic Backer die. I used the Twig Wreath stamp set to create a frame around my quote.
At the bottom of my card, I used some darling images from the Choose Happy stamp set, the tiny stitching vines and berries/flowers. They are stamped in Simply Chartreuse and Autumn Rose.
The flowers for my wreath were die cut from Sweet Blush ink and stamped in Hibiscus Burst, Autumn Rose, Hawaiian Shores, and Simply Chartreuse. The paper used at the top of my card is from the Twig Wreath paper pad.
My next card uses just the Twig Wreath stamp set and I die cut the wreath and flowers from Classic Kraft cardstock.
My flowers are stamped in Ocean Tides, Autumn Rose, and Hibiscus Burst with the lease stamped in Simply Chartreuse.
I used more sweet paper from the Twig Wreath paper pad along with Chicken Scratch Gingham. I adore the sentiments found in this set and used one of my favorites just below the wreath.
These two sets are going to be used and used and used and I can't wait to show you more :).
Thanks for visiting!

I can see how you take such delight in these sentiments, and the cards are so pretty too!

Congratulations on your sentiment set, Melissa! I love the sentiment in your first card, and it describes one of my daughters, to a tee. She is quick witted, always has a smile and is so giving, it humbles me. So the twinkle, smile and heart fit her perfectly. I also love the one about a friend overlooking your broken fence. I can hardly wait to make some cards using the wonderful sentiments! Thank you for your creativity!

The twig wreath stamped on kraft card stock is the perfect combination. The addition of lace to your cards also makes them special. Very pretty cards; thank you for sharing.

I can't wait to order your new sentiment set. I noticed it was used on a lot of the sample cards by the designers today and every one was a beautiful card with a wonderful sentiment. Thanks again for sharing your talents through such a great company.

Hi Melissa,
Thanks for lifting me up today and ALWAYS!!! Your creations always have a "Je ne se qua" ( I hope I wrote it well), about them that leave me breathless every time I see them. Well, to tell the truth I know all the adjectives, but is going to take me FOREVER to write them down,so let's stick with the previous, shall we?
Cariños,
María Alba

That twig wreath just seems to be made for the gingham chicken scratch background. Great warm and cozy country look!

Hey Melis,
I'm so very happy and excited for you. Your such a wonderful person and I'm glad your getting back what you put out into the world. I can't wait to get my hands on your Choose Joy set. I hope they ordered enough because I know so many of us want this set badly and we'll be really disappointed if we have to wait for it to come back in stock, lol. I especially wanted to personally say to you the same thing I said on Papertrey's blog to all the ladies, Thank you for giving us inspiration and the tools to make awesome beautiful projects.
