I knew you would work your vintage, shabby magic when I saw the sneak peek of the bottle brush trees and I haven't been disappointed. Your cards today are so beautiful.

I love you cards and color choices. What is the brand of the vintage mint embossing powder?

Hey Melissa, it's been a while, I haven't had a moment to post in awhile, but I just wanted to pop in a give you a little love. These are stunning, gorgeous, beautiful, etc, etc, lol. You know your my fav of all time, just saying. I love your color choice. It's funny how a card can evoke so many wonderful memories. My first tree in my own apartment, 25 years ago was decorated with pinks, gold, silver and turquoise. I remember as a teenager my mom had a love for bottle brush trees. They weren't that popular back then so when my mom found one at an estate sale or an antique store she looked like she struck gold. I didn't care much for them as a teenager, but as I got older I started to share my moms love for them. Christmas was her favorite and she would decorate the entire house. I defenitly got my love of decorating from her. I decorate every nook and cranny of my house, yes even my three bathrooms too, lol. Heaven help whom ever my son marries in the very long future, as he loves how I decorate the whole house for every holiday. He's even told me that someday he wants his house the same way at holidays, lol. I've even continued my mother's tradition of buying him an ornament every year since he's been born. It's what ever he's into that year, and I take a sharpie and put the year and always sign it love mommy of coarse. I also set up a little tree in his room and put all his ornaments on it every year since he's one, He's now going to be thirteen this Xmas so that little tree is getting a little bedraggled looking, it might be time for a new one, lol. I'm so thankful my mom started that tradition for me. Since she passed two years ago, every time we pull out all the bins to decorate and I carefully unwrap one by one I'm reminded just how much I was loved. Thanks for sharing and inspiring:)
