Hello again! The Papertrey Ink team is back again with more new release holiday projects...this post is all about FLORALS and there are some beautiful sets coming soon! Each will be available in just a few short days for purchase...October 15th 10PM EST at the Papertrey Ink store.
My first card uses the lovely new Botanical Blocks III stamp set and Botanical Blocks Basics dies. I embossed my image in white on watercolor cardstock and then added color straight from my ink pads using a water brush. I used Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist, Limeade Ice, and Simply Chartreuse ink. I embossed my sentiment in gold on a die cut vellum banner, cut using the new Tag Sale: Quilted dies.
I embossed my background using white embossing powder, stamped on Sheer Basics Vellum, using snowflakes from the Quilted: Winter stamp set.
Next, I used the new Spruce & Sprigs stamp set and coordinating dies. This is such a fun stamp set...gonna get lots of mileage out of it, I can already tell.
I began with the Tag Sale: Quilted dies once again and Kraft cardstock. After adhering a block of Sheer Basics Vellum to the center of my tag, I embellished using sprigs die cut from Kraft cardstock and embossed using a variety of different colors, Shabby Green, Gold, Aged Rose, and Zing! Blush. I stamped a couple of images using Autumn Rose and Simply Chartreuse.
I used the new Wet Paint Holiday Tags stamp set and dies for part of my sentiment, and the new Keep it Simple: Gift Thanks to finish my sentiment. Across the bottom I used a strip of paper from the Holiday Plaids pad.
My last card uses the beautiful new Cover Plate: Winter Florals die. I only wanted a portion of this used, so I cut the bottom die cuts out, leaving the outer border. I then added glitter around the edges, and over the intricate designs at the top. I layered this over some Holiday Plaids paper and then started embellishing a bit.
I attached two die cut Fancy Flakes, cut from vellum and Blue Shimmer cardstock. These were layered under a die cut Folded Tag, with the second layer removed.
I used the Winter Hills stamp set for my sentiment and embellished with a ribbon and a couple of silver hearts from Freckled Fawn.
Lots to love, yes?!
Thanks for visiting!
Melis

I try to imagine what these beauties would look like if I held them in my hand. I know this because I have purchased so many of your cards in the past. As pretty as they are, the pictures do not capture all the details and beauty. You are gifted.

I can pick your projects out without even looking at the designer name. You have such a wonderful feminine style that just pulls you right in. I can look at a card several times and find something new each time. These projects are no exception. I love the sparkle and softness...they are simply stunning. I can't wait to see more.

Three AWESOME cards! Gorgeous coloring and details on the Botanical Block III , fabulous sparkle on the Spruce and Sprigs and wonderful Winter Florals cover die card!
