It's December! That means that it's the merriest time of the year and today's project is just one of the many that you'll be able to enjoy as you tune in each day. I pinned the sweetest wall hanging a while ago, made of fabric scraps and bits of trim that were all assembled to create a Christmas tree. So...I and to try my hand at a paper-crafted version of this wall hanging.
I used washi tape, fabric scraps, pom pom trim, vintage trim, and of course my stamps. I used the Holiday Lights stamp set for my sentiment, the Tree Trimming Trio set for my trunk, and the Winter Hills set for my snowflakes in the background. The glittered star at the top of my tree was cut using the Joyful Christmas die.
I embellished my tree with a sweet, pink flair button from the Pretty Vintage Christmas collection. Those snowmen are kind of irresistible :).
This is a fun way to use up odds and ends, those little bits of trimmings and fabrics that you might love too much to toss.
It’s not a party without a prize - and with prizes every day there are several chances to win! Today’s prize is generously supplied by Hero Arts so you’ll definitely want to get your hands on it!
