Happy, Happy 2016! It's a brand new year, brimming with new beginnings and hope! I love dreaming about the new possibilities, not only for myself, but for those I love as well.
The Sr. Design Team members at Papertrey Ink are revisiting the well-loved Stitched Sentiments stamp set...no secret that it's a favorite of mine. I chose to use a die cut Stitched Primitive Heart as my focal point, and added my stamped images and sentiments from Stitched Sentiments, directly to my heart.
I stamped in Autumn Rose, Sweet Blush, Simply Chartreuse, Fine Linen, and Dark Chocolate. I added a stamped and die cut bow at the base of my heart, from the Deck the Halls stamp and die collection.
For my next card, I stamped my images inside the wooden hoop image, then wrapped a stamped and die cut Twig Wreath around it, embellishing with flowers and berries from both sets.
I used Limeade Ice, Summer Sunrise, Ocean Tides, Spring Moss, and Berry Sorbet ink.
Across the bottom, I added a strip of Chicken Scratch Gingham paper.
Lastly, a bonus card today, using the new Two Toned stamp set and coordinating dies, with the One Big Happy (qualifying free stamp set) used as accents and as my background.
I used Lavender Moon, Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet, Autumn Rose, Spring Moss, and Lovely Lady ink.
Paper from the Ombre Stripes paper pad and the Tag Sale #9 die were also used, with the Sew Simple Borders stamped down the left side. My little sequin heart is from Freckled Fawn.
There's more to see on the blogs listed below. Happy New Year!
Melissa

Three terrific card, Melissa! Love the stitched heart and wood/gingham bkgrd on the first one. The second is so sunshinny and cheerful. The third is such a sweet, love-filled card! Love the bkgrd and stamping (the new stamps and dies look great), the layers and sequin heart. So nice. THANKS for the inspiration! :)

I can always pick your projects from other artists because they have the pastel vintage flavor I love. Thank you so much.
P.S. I would love to see more YouTube videos from you on techniques.
