Morning! Our next Papertrey Ink group post focuses on the oh, so cute Petite Places: Home & Garden. I've officially decided it's my favorite in the Petite Places line. It comes complete with a flower garden, arbor, garden shed, wheelbarrow, the cutest little house, and much more.
For my first project, I created a 3-D shadow box...been wanting to make one for a while now, and this little set inspired me. I used the matchbox die that comes in the Make it Market Kit: All Through the House. It's one of my most favorite dies because you can do so much with it. I turned it on its side, and started adding die cut and stamped elements from the Petite Places: Home & Garden set.
I stamped in Mint Julep (my favorite color right now), Hibiscus Burst, Lovely Lady, Summer Sunrise, Ocean Tides, Spring Moss, Sweet Blush, Fine Linen, and Spring Rain. I love these sweet, soft, spring colors together.
I stamped my sentiment on a die cut Tremendous Tag, and embellished using wooden spools wrapped in fabric and trim, chipboard, glitter, and some flowers. I love the sentiments in this set...unique and special.
My card uses the house from the Home & Garden set, using the same colors as in my shadow box. I used the Rustic Wreath stamp set, layering die cut Limitless Layers: Hearts over the top, and then added my house.
I added a border across the bottom of my card, uses flowers from the Home & Garden stamp set...they are truly the cutest, tiniest little things, and then stamped my sentiment above. Isn't the a sweet sentiment?
I also added a couple of Vintage Cream clouds, cut using the Little Hot Rod dies.
I'm anxious to see what the other designers have created for you. Follow the links below to visit their blog. Thanks so much for visiting!
