Welcome to day 2 of Papertrey Ink's 9th Anniversary celebration! Today we are introducing Betsy Veldman's new Dress Up Dolls stamps and dies.
This month she is introducing her new Dress Up Dolls: Basic Stamps & Dies and Dress Up Dolls: Easter Stamps & Dies along with Metal CD Tins and Magnet Sheets, so you can create interactive paper doll sets for the littles in your life.
My card very simply uses the two new sets and dies to create a sweet Easter card. After die cutting my bunny suit from white cardstock, I stamped tiny pink hearts from the Dress Up Dolls: Basic stamp set. I used my Copics and chalk to create color and shading then added some Stickles Diamond glitter for sparkle. I stamped in Mint Julep and Sweet Blush, adding a die cut "hug" from the Big Hugs die collection. The fun Easter grass cut from Mint Julep + White Basics, was cut from a new die that you'll hear more about very soon...along with the tiny Easter Eggs and stamped flowers :).
I used the Dress Up Dolls: Basic Stamps & Dies on this next project, creating a pocket tag that holds two dolls and extra clothing so the recipient can have a bit of fun dressing them up and changing their clothing.
I used the Stitched Tag dies, vellum, and paper from the Petite Places pad. I thought this would be a fun "friendship" gift for girls, so I created a tag expressing a sentiment suitable, which is from another new set you'll hear more about soon :). As the clothes spill out of the pocket tag, so does confetti...a fun way to celebrate being friends!
I created a heart shaped tag, cut using the Shakers + Sprinkles die, and used the darling heart banner from the Choose Joy stamp set.
Here's a peek inside at the dolls and their extra clothes.
Copics were used to add color on their clothing, their faces, and accents.
Lastly, another interactive project using the Metal CD Tin and magnet sheets to create a paper-doll bunny with a few different suits to mix and match.
I chose to cut the bunny suits from assorted patterned paper, paper-piecing the ears and tummy. I selected Lavender Moon Bitty Dot, Aqua Mist Gingham, and Lovely Lady + White Basics paper.
More of those cute stamped eggs...and the darling chickie, oh and the Easter grass....all new products I mentioned on my first card :) I used the Bitty Bouquets stamps and dies to add a few flowers.
Everything is magnetic, here, so it makes traveling or gift giving easy and doable.
I covered the inside of both the top and bottom of my CD case with Sheer Basics Vellum, just to add a softness to the background, and it works great and the magnets are still very effective.
There's another contest ready for you HERE on Nichole's blog...you'll love it :).

Hi Melissa,
Absolutely ADORABLE!!! It is a pity that I don't have any children that I could give these beauties to.
