Hello! Welcome to day 5 of Papertrey Ink's 9th Anniversary festivities! There are so many beautiful, new products that are being showcased today. My card uses just a few of them...the Peonies on Parade stamp set, dies, and watercolor sheets.
I began with my Peonies on Parade watercolor sheet, and using my Loew Cornell Watercolor Cakes and water brush, I started adding color.
I used quite a bit of water to create a nice, soft blend, and after my cardstock was dry, I die cut it into scallops using a die from the Vintage Notions Make it Market Kit. I adhered this to my card base which was cut from Sweet Blush cardstock and has a strip of Mint Julep + White Basics paper down the left side.
I then die cut, stamped, and heat embossed small peonies and their leaves from vellum. My sentiment is from the new Keep it Simple: Easter stamp set and is stamped in Melon Berry ink on a Double Ended Banners die.
So much more to enjoy on Nichole's blog and the following:
P.S. Be sure to check out the challenges and prizes!

Stunning card, Melissa. Your watercolor is beautiful. I love the antique-y feel to the colors. Those coloring pages are just going to have to make their way here - beautiful cards made easy. How can a girl go wrong?! :)

As ever, you wow me. The vellum peonies remind me of the intricate embroidery my grandmother did on hankies back in her day. Just love this card
