The new Papertrey Ink Make it Market Mini Kit: Sunshine & Rainbows is truly just the sweetest thing on the planet :). I can't help but love this thing as it is full of images and sentiments that make my heart melt...such a sweet compilation of supplies to create with.
For my first card I used one of the stencils included in the kit, placed it over watercolor cardstock, and then sponged on colors of Hibiscus Burst, Berry Sorbet, Aqua Mist, Mint Julep, Bright Buttercup, and Orange Zest.
I then took my waterbrush and added just a bit of water to each colored area followed by splatters of Orange Zest. Once the color was dry I added my die cut "Sunshine", my tiny bird, felt heart, stamped flowers, and sentiment.
This next little card may just be my most favorite of all time...I don't know why other than it just made me happy while creating, and continues to make me happy as I look at it and enjoy the sweet and truthful sentiment.
Once again I used one of the stencils from the kit in the background, sponging on colors of Bright Buttercup, Aqua Mist, and Mint Julep. I then die cut all of my tiny pieces from white cardstock, added Aqua Mist to my clouds using my water brush, and once dry, stamped a portion of my sentiment on the clouds using Hawaiian Shores.
I added raindrops by "stamping off" Aqua Mist, then used the same raindrop image to form leaves for my flower clusters.
I stamped in Spring Moss, Lavender Moon, Berry Sorbet, Mint Julep, Fine Linen, and Aqua Mist.
This kit is truly just too cute for words...gotta get your hands on one :).

P.S. I'm listening to my latest favorite radio station on Pandora tonight while creating and working...Dido Radio. LOVE it! What do you listen to?
Your colors and that cute little swing would make a fabulous baby card!

Hi Melissa,
CUTE,CUTE,CUTE Cards..........may I add another CUTE?
I never listen to radio, you see my grandfather on my mother's side use to hear the radio, but only for the horse racings. And since I did not like the intensity of the commentators remarks, to this day if I hear someone speaking (not music), it as hearing a cacophony of sounds and it irritates me to no avail, go figure!
But you my friend make me so very happy!!!
Cariños,
María Alba
