Morning! Welcome to another Papertrey Ink June group post. Today we are showcasing the new Woodblock Prints products. They are so beautiful and fun to work with.
My card uses an image from the Woodblock Prints stamp set. I've stamped each image on a die cut square, cut using the Limitless Layers: 1 1/2" Squares die. I used Pale Peony, Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry, and Fine Linen ink, using a few vintage postage stamps I had on hand, and a flair button from A Flair for Buttons.
I used the new Inspired: Grace stamp set for my sentiment.
On my next card, I used one of the lovely Woodblock Prints stencils...you'll love these :). I sponged on color over a block of white cardstock using Pale Peony, Summer Sunrise, and Fine Linen.
I then used the new What the Doodle: Sun stamp set and dies to bring in my sentiment and add a subtle focal point.
The bottom layer of my sun was cut from gingham paper with the top layer cut from vellum and heat embossed using white embossing powder.
Lastly, I used the Woodblock Prints patterned paper and the Beautiful Blooms II #1 dies to create a layered flower in the rich colors found in this paper collection.
In the background I used another one of the Woodblock Prints stencils, sponging Aqua Mist and Orange Zest on my card base. My die cut flower is layered over a die cut using the Branching Out die.
I created a border across the bottom of my card using images found in the Woodblock Prints stamp set, stamping in Hawaiian Shores and Orange Zest. My sentiment comes from the Sentiment Splits stamp set.

The card with the vintage postage stamps is absolutely gorgeous! I'm from Finland myself, so I couldn't help but notice the old Finnish stamp on your card. Very pretty indeed, and very inspiring.
