Hello there and welcome August! This is a fun, yet busy month around here, but I've always been one who loves preparing for "back to school" and all of the things associated with heading back, so for me, this month is more fun than busy :).
The Papertrey Ink Sr. Team is revisiting the older, but completely beautiful Meadow Greens stamp set...I can't say enough about this amazing set. It's one you have to try out for yourself and then you'll know just what I'm talking about. The large flowers in this set lend themselves so well to watercolor, and that's just what I did on my first card, using watercolor cardstock, white embossing powder, and my Zig watercolor markers.
I also used the Background Basics: Text Style II, Fancy Flourishes, and the new MIM Kit: Garden Gate.
The beautiful greens in this set make perfect accents for many different occasions, including Christmas. I created a holiday tag using the Tag Sale: Quilted die.
I embossed my Meadow Green images on my die cut tag, heat embossing them in Shabby Green enamel. I then added layers on top of these images, using the Friendship Jar Flowers, Fancy Flourishes, and a sentiment from the Keep it Simple: Season's Greetings stamp set.
I stamped in Ocean Tides, Fine Linen, Ripe Avocado, and Scarlet Jewel...my favorite holiday color combo, as of right now :).
Be sure to see what the other Sr. Team members have created for you by following the links below and Happy August to you!
Gorgeous creations, especially love the holiday tag!

Melissa...you never cease to amaze me. I so love Meadow Greens and I ran directly to your blog when I heard it was being revisited. Your cards are beautiful. And the the things you do with Fancy Flourishes are beyond words. It is so subtle but adds so much. Love!
