Hello again Papertrey Ink fans! Did you know I am a huge Warren Kimble lover:)? It's true. I love Primitive art and have been drawn to his artwork for as long as I can remember...have his prints hanging on my wall and love them just as much now as ever. So, when given the opportunity to choose an artist to use as my source of inspiration, I turned to him and his Welcome Pineapple shown in the top photo.
I used the Some Like it Hot, Twig Wreath, Bold Blossoms, Background Basics: Farm & Barn, and Fancy Flourishes stamp sets to help me along. I stamped my pineapple, die cut from Kraft cardstock, in Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Simply Chartreuse, and Ripe Avocado ink. The Bold Blossom leaves were also stamped in Simply Chartreuse and Ripe Avocado. My sentiment was stamped in True Black, and my flourishes were stamped in Fine Linen.
I used Autumn Chicken Scratch Gingham, 2008 Bitty Dot Basics, and Traveler's Journal patterned paper.

Hello Melissa ! You always inspire me. You have an artist's eye for sure. I love the clever way you interpreted your inspiration piece.

My favorite, too! I have a big print of a saltbox house in my kitchen. Your pineapple card is amazing

I LOVE this card, and have some questions. How did you stamp the chicken wire. It looks like you used kraft cardstock, clear embossing and some white pigment ink, but I’m not sure. Also did you use glitter and glue on the pineapple? Thanks!
