Good morning friends! Welcome to the first Papertrey Ink group post of July...there's so much to love about the products we're showcasing today.
My first project uses the new Tiny Town: Sweet Shoppe dies...oh, how adorable they are! Each designer was encouraged to go in a different direction with their project, and I decided to go the holiday, gingerbread house direction :).
The Tiny Town: Sweet Shoppe dies coordinate with the previously released Tiny Town: Basics dies. I adore the darling awning and the fact that you can add stripes for more character and contrast.
My house was created from Pure Poppy + White Basics paper. My awning was created using White and Vintage Jadeite cardstock. I cut my windows and door from Gold Shimmer cardstock, lining the backside of each with white cardstock. The flowers in my Vintage Jadeite flower boxes were cut using Scarlet Shimmer cardstock.
I used the Gingerbread Lane stamp set and dies to embellish my house with candy canes, and my die cut Tremendous Tag with a gingerbread man...I used the yummy, new Cocoa Bean ink. My sentiment comes from the Fillable Frames #9 stamp set. I used Scarlet Jewel Satin ribbon at the top to secure my sweet shoppe.
I used the new Colorful Treats stamps and dies on my next project. I die cut the suckers from watercolor cardstock, stamping them with watermark ink, and then heat embossing with white embossing powder.
I used my watercolors and water brush and started adding fun, sweet, juicy colors to each sucker. They are framed in with the new Cover Plate: Awning die, cut from Pale Peony + White Basics paper. I then added a block of Sheer Basics Vellum to the center of my card, adding some heat embossed Stitched Swirls.
Lastly, I added my sentiment, stamped in Lovely Lady ink, to a die cut Tremendous Tag and attached it to my suckers. So much fun :).
The other designers have some sweet things to share with you as well. Follow the links to their blogs below. Thanks so much for your visit!

Gorgeous projects, all, Melissa! As I was looking at everyone else's sweet little shoppes, I was wondering what a Christmas shoppe would look like and then your gorgeous little shoppe appeared, wow! That ribbon is like the icing on the cake, too, just luscious! The lollipops look like summer themselves and so sweet.
