Morning! Today's Papertrey Ink group post is for all you paper-crafters and stitchers out there! I love incorporating fun, stitched felt and paper embellishments in my handmade gifts, tags, even cards and the new line-up of stitched Halloween dies are too cute to resist :).
I used the new Stitched Moon & Sketched Stars and Bat dies on my little Halloween treat container. I used a portion of a paper towel tube to create this fun and inexpensive project. I flattened one end of the tube, stitched it closed, added my patterned paper to the outside and stitched the bottom again to secure everything in place and then set to work with my dies embellishing it.
The spooky tree from the Tiny Town: Spooky Yard die collection is the perfect accent for my haunted scene. I cut it from patterned paper, adhered it to the front of my tube, and attached my stitched felt moon and stitched shimmer cardstock star.
I then used a die cut Tremendous Tag to add a sentiment. It is stamped using the new Spooky Smiles stamp set and Saffron Spice ink. I embellished it with a stitched bat and one more star. So fun and easy and I can't wait to try out more of these irresistible dies!

As always this is so stunning. One question...Did you intend for it to look like a spooky rabbit? Well done! Halloween is always about perspective and fun. I like it even though I'm sure its not a rabbit but I will keep smiling thinking of that adorable spooky rabbit with his treat bag.

I like the phrase "spooky sweet" - it certainly describes your two projects. My grands would enjoy these - not too spooky for little ones.

Hi Melis! Such cute projects. I love stitched dies, they're pretty easy to make yet they pack a big punch for a gift. What a great idea for the treat bag, we all have paper towels in our house. Usually have an empty roll a day, my son usually grabs 7-8 every time he washes his hands, I swear, lol. So I've said fall is my favorite decorating season, I so love all your projects, such talent, thanks for inspiring.
