Sigh....isn't fall just the most delightful time of year? I was born to live in autumn :). Today's Papertrey Ink group post is all about fall and the beautiful products we'll be showcasing celebrate this time of year with traditional autumn-y images, but in classic Papertrey Ink style and grace. My first card uses the new Color Pop: Autumn Mini Kit...it's pure deliciousness!
I used a block of Saffron Spice cardstock as my background and added die cut images from the printed paper found in the Color Pop: Autumn kit, arranging them over a die cut Garden Garland.
I stamped my sentiment in Americana on my Saffron Spice cardstock block, and attached the second portion of my sentiment just beneath, stamping in Simply Chartreuse.
Next up is a hostess card and gift ensemble...what a lovely thought it is to thank the special person who hosted guests for Thanksgiving dinner!
I used the beautiful new Give Thanks stamp set and coordinating dies for these projects. The Tag Sale #8 die was used on both with my sentiment stamped in Ocean Tides. I love adding a shade of blue to my fall projects, and this color carries with is such a rich feel....one of my faves for holiday projects too :).
I embellished both my card and tag with images from the Give Thanks stamp set....have to say that the wheat stalks will forever go down as one of my most favorite images. I have always had a love for wheat fields, so this is so fun to add to my collection for autumn projects.
I stamped in Saffron Spice, Fine Linen, Cocoa Bean, Canyon Clay, and Terracotta Tile. Across the bottom of the tag on my card I added a die cut fence from the Little Bitty Bird die collection.
The paper used in my background is from the 2009 Bitty Dot Basics paper pack. The berries were added using an image from the Stitched Sentiments stamp set, and across the bottom I added stitching using the Sew Simple Borders stamp set.
Lastly, I used the new Splits: Giving Thanks stamp set and dies on this card. I had so much fun with this one :). I die cut my frame using Saffron Spice cardstock, stamped my image in Americana ink, and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.
I then added a bit of coloring to the leaves and acorns using my Copics, and started die cutting leaves from patterned paper scraps. I used the new Give Thanks dies and stamps, the Stylized: Autumn dies, the Color Pop: Autumn dies, and the Leaf Prints dies.
My swirls are from the new Autumn Pumpkins set and the berries are once again from the Stitched Sentiments stamp set.
I am so inspired by these beautiful new products! I know you'll love them just as much as I do :).
