Let's get started with a few projects, shall we?
This first card uses the Post & Parcel paper collection and coordinating dies. I love the tiny mailboxes found throughout this kit and jumped right in using them to create this card.
I chose to stack a couple of mailboxes, layering holiday greenery in-between, and stuffing my mailboxes with packages and tiny, hand-stamped envelopes. When using the mailbox die, a slit it cut in each mailbox so that you can stuff the mailboxes with whatever you have in mind....all of these amazing details have been perfectly though out for you.
I added a bit of glitter wherever the snow had fallen on my mailboxes, and used a couple of different patterns of paper to create my background.
At the bottom of my card I stamped my sentiment in Ocean Tides ink, and accented it with another die cut....love, love, love this kit!
My favorite things included in this kit would have to be the stencils and stamps. This is my favorite project thus far using this kit.
I created a little gift card envelope using the die found in the kit. I embellished the front with a hand-stamped mailbox, once again embellished and filled with stamped holiday greenery and an envelope. I also stamped a tiny postage stamp and attached it to the top.
Next, I used the stencils to create little notecards to include in the envelope. I used my sponge brushes to stencil on the wreath and berries, and then added stamped images as well.
The sweet little Christmas birds are another of my favorite things :).
You know how much I love houses....so this stencil was most definitely calling my name! I sponged color on to create the snow falling, the snow banks, and the houses. I then used heavy gesso to stencil on the windows for each house. Around the edges of both notecards, I used Glimmer Mist and another stencil four in the kit to give me my airmail stripes.
The 3D vintage letterbox dies in this kit are amazing! How fun to get to create you own little letterbox....completely mind blowing :).
After cutting and assembling mine, using papers found in the kit, I used some of the white flocking to add an authentic look and feel of a snowy letterbox.
Inside are several die cut and stamped notecards just waiting to be used and loved :).
A little bonus product for you, using more of the lovely paper from the kit, this time used as wrapping paper for a pretty package.
The velvet ribbon, miniature pine garland, and cardinal just take each project over the top and create such memorable gifts.
There's so much to love about Post & Parcel. I have only scratched the surface of all of the possibilities....more projects in my brain and in the works :). Can't wait to share them!
