invitation inspiration...

Hey, hey, it's  Monday!  Woot, woot!  Let's have ourselves a little celebration, huh?  Today the Papertrey Ink team is showing off some of the cutest birthday party products, that can easily work themselves right into other occasions too.  I've created a party ensemble for a sweet, little one year old.

My card began with the new Noted:  Scalloped A2 Vertical die and Lavender Moon cardstock.  I then added a layer of Ombre Stripes patterned paper, followed by more layers, cut using different dies from the Noted:  Scalloped A2 Vertical die collection.  I then created a pretty simple focal point using the darling, new Invitation Basics stamp set and coordinating dies.  

I stamped in Spring Moss, Lavender Mon, Melon Berry, Harvest Gold, Pale Peony, Summer Sunrise, and Berry Sorbet.  I added a Tinier Tag with my sentiment, found in the Tiny Tags stamp set.  I created a coordinating envelope, using different images from the Invitation Basics stamp set, along with the No Strings Attached stamp set.  The tiny butterflies on my card and gift bag are from the Make it Market Mini: Wee Folk patterned paper collection.

 

I attached a coordinating handle to my glassine gift bag, using the Get a Handle On It die collection, cutting it from Lavender Moon Gingham paper.

I used the smaller rectangles found in the Noted:  Scalloped A2 Vertical die collection to create my tag, adding stamps and die cuts from the Invitation Basics stamp set once again.  

I can't wait to use this set in different colors for other special occasions....not to mention there are so many other images I haven't yet even used.  Love this fun set!
