Happy December! Welcome to the Papertrey Ink Sr. Team Challenge. This month we are revisiting the adorable Winter Snow Globe stamp set, designed by Heather Nichols...it's pretty irresistible :).
I created a background for my first card using the tree from this set. I stamped in Summer Sunrise, Pale Peony, Sweet Blush, Mint Julep, and Aqua Mist. I added a bit of color to the stars on each tree and a few of the ornaments by using my Copic markers and then Stickles Diamond Glitter. I then added my focal point, which is the die cut and stamped snow globe, with a tree nestled inside, adhering it using dimensional adhesive so it will stand out from the background.
I added my sentiment at the bottom and embellished it with a candy cane and holly from the Christmas Critters stamp set. They are stamped in Berry Sorbet, Mint Julep, and Simply Chartreuse.
Next I used the Essential Pillow Box die to create a special package, using the Winter Snow Globe stamp set on my tag.
I created my tag using the Tag Sale #1 die. My snow globe is stamped in Pale Peony ink with the snowflakes inside stamped with watermark ink and heat embossed using aqua embossing powder. I then die cut and stamped my snowman, adding a bit of ink blending and glitter to add some character.
My sentiment is stamped in Limeade Ice ink and to finish I added Limeade Ice felt holly leaves cut using the Holly Jolly die.
This little set will most definitely get you in the Christmas crafting spirit! Thanks for visiting.
