Hi there! Today the Papertrey Ink team will be introducing you to two, lovely new stamp sets, both all about love, weddings, and anniversaries. I get to share with you the new To Have & To Hold set....I am crazy about it!
I am always eager to create with the stamp sets that Heather Nichols designs...I just love her style, and this set is right up there at the top of my favorites. I die cut and stamped the large heart using the coordinating dies, and stamped my heart vine using Aqua Mist.
I then die cut the inner wreath and filled it full of stamped floral images using Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise, Lilac Grace, Aqua Mist, Berry Sorbet, Limeade Ice, and Stormy Sea. I then added this to the center of the larger heart, using dimensional adhesive to make it pop just a bit.
I stamped my sentiment in Stormy Sea and adhered it across the center of the heart, adding die cut and stamped flowers to embellish. I created a background for my card, using the Happy Anniversary sentiment from To Have & To Hold, stamping on a diagonal using Lilac Grace....my new favorite color :). At the top of my card I used a strip of Chicken Scratch Gingham.
I can't wait to see what the others have created. You can find there blogs listed below. Thanks for stopping by!
Melis
I'm dying to know how you get your lovely bows to pop off the page the way you do. How do you get them to stick up like that? Your card is amazing! If you have a minute, please let me know about the bows. [email protected]
