Hello again! Our Papertrey Ink group post today is packed with lots of fun and creativity and is all about care packages, sending get well wishes, cheering up a friend in need, etc.
I created a gift basket, card, and tag to help a friend conquer the Winter Blues :)....do you get them? I haven't yet had the blues creep up on my this time of year, but sure would love a day in bed, reading a book, in my cozy pajamas :).
My card uses the new Take It Easy stamps set & dies and Cozy Bed dies. What a fun group of products to allow yourself to get playful with! The Cozy Bed dies are like working in a department store and getting to dream up your own comforter, blankets, and coordinating pillows.
Since I was creating for the Winter Blues, I added in the older Fab Flakes stamp set and coordinating dies to create a snowflake pillow and embellishments. I love the tiny newspaper that allows you to create your own heading, and of course the mini reading glasses. I've used Chicken Scratch Gingham, Sheer Basics Vellum, So Striking, and Blueberry Sky Bitty Dot paper on my card.
My tag uses a sentiment from the Take it Easy stamp set....one that we all could benefit from :). I used the Limitless Layers: 2 1/4" Hearts and Stitched Hearts dies along with the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set and dies...add a cup of hot cocoa to my dream day in bed. The new Tissue Box Cover dies is adorable! Whether you're sick in bed or spending the day in bed reading a favorite book that makes you teary, this sweet little package makes everything all better :).
My gift basket includes lotion, minty lip balm, bath salts, chocolates, hand sanitizer, and a couple of my favorite books, Lost December and Summer at Tiffany. Have you read either one? They are perfect for a cold, winter's day.
It'll be fun to see what the other designers have dreamed up using these products. You can follow the links below to find your way to their blogs.
Thanks for visiting!
