Morning! Welcome to the 2nd day of Papertrey Ink's December release. Today I get to introduce you to the new Thick & Thin die collection....these dies are so much fun!
I die cut the thick layer of my "hello" die from white cardstock and then cut my thin layer from the new Lilac Grace cardstock. I then layered the assembled die cuts over the new Splits: With Love stamp set/die. I heat embossed my image using white embossing powder and then added color using my Zig watercolor markers.
I used the Limitless Layers Stitched Hearts and 2 1/4" die collection along with Lavender Moon Stripes paper in the background....I love that it's time to dig out my favorite heart dies once again :). At the bottom of my card I used the new Keep it Simple: Sending Hugs stamp set, stamping in Hibiscus Burst ink.
On my next card, I die cut my thick "thanks" layer from Sweet Blush cardstock, die cutting my thin layer from white cardstock. They are layered over a die cut Leaf & Sprigs frame. I used Copics and Zig watercolor markers to add color to my leaves and berries.
At the bottom of my card I used the new Stroke Speak stamp set, stamping my sentiment in Mint Julep ink. I love the unique sentiments found in this stamp set....all full of encouragement and support.
At the top of my card I used the new Fresh Bouquet stamp set...such a beauty! I stamped in Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Story Sea, Hibiscus Burst, Mint Julep, and Spring Moss. I added a strip of Pale Peony + White Basics paper across the top.
I created a Christmas card using the Thick & Thin: Celebrate dies, this time using the thin die directly over the thick die cut, creating a window of sorts where I could layer red glittered cardstock to show through.
My Thick & Thin dies are layered over vellum snowflakes and poinsettias, cut using the Damask Snowflakes and Christmas Poinsettias dies.
At the bottom I used the Wonderful Words: Holiday and the Holiday Greens stamp sets.
Thanks for visiting....lots more to see by following the links below.

It's like asking to pick a favorite child, but your first card, with the roses, is my fav of all these extraordinary cards. The new lavender will be a great addition to your color palette. No one does soft and dreamy the way you do! You haven't seen what can be done with Papertrey products until you've seen Melissa's entries.

Your cards are STUNNINg!! I LOVE the last one with all the pretty vellum layers. Your style is just so beautiful and the way you used the lovely flowers on the first two cards is marvelous.

I can always count on you for inspiration, even if I feel "meh" about a particular stamp or sentiment set. (Although that is rare, it does happen, and I wasn't very interested in the Thick and Thin until I saw your cards.) Love ALL of these projects, especially the Thanks card. Beautiful work, as ever!
